Midwestern U.S. Linux Chix Chapter:
It is still my intention to organize a Linux Chix chapter for the midwestern
United States. Currently, we are only a handful of disorganized Geek Girls
located in Nebraska and Iowa. Hopefully, this will give
my females in technology efforts some direction and make the Lazygirl Network
part of a larger "Females in Technology" group while also generating new members.
Our Linux Chix group also operates a Geek
Girl News forum. This is a moderated news and message slash based web
site that offers Free Membership to anyone interested in participating.
Topics of discussion are limitless but tend to be related to those things that
interest most us Geeky females. By the way, this is not a gender restricted
web site, all geeks are welcome.
In addition to these resources will be a Linux Grrl mailing list and
membership. If you are a Linux geekgrrl and want to contribute to this
